Digitization in libraries:

If wishing to try also samples from the full presentations, please, note that some of them are special formats, such as DjVu, JP2, or MrSID - to open the files, you must install additional plug-ins or ActiveX components. You will find them at the following URLs:

www.luratech.com (for JP2)
These formats and other new emerging formats can be used also in the IrfanView freeware viewer - but as to MrSID, you will not find there the full functionality as expected (you will only see the image without the opportunity to handle it in a more sophisticated manner.
